It depends on the herb. Some herbs are gentle enough for children or pregnancy, and some are not. If you need a blend for a child or someone who’s pregnant or nursing, I’ll either modify the formula or create a separate version using safe alternatives. Always ask first before using any herbal product in those situations.
Not at this time. All products are made to order through the apothecary and consultations are done either online or in-person by appointment. Local house calls are available for consultations if you’re in Hardee, Highlands, and Ft. Meade. Mileage will be charged beyond that area.
Most of my blends are naturally caffeine-free unless a client specifically requests a stimulating herb like yerba mate or green tea. If a blend does contain caffeine, it will be clearly labeled.
Yes. That’s the core of what I do. Custom blends are formulated based on your goals, constitution, patterns, and how your body tends to respond. This is done through a consultation to make sure the herbs are appropriate and the dosing is correct.
No. I am not a doctor and do not, nor am I leagally allowed to, diagnose or treat medical issues thus replacing allopathic care. I work with patterns, constitution, and support systems in the body. Herbs can assist the body’s natural processes, but this is a different framework than the medical model.
Tell me before ordering or schedule a mini-consultation. Many herbs have close relatives or botanical overlaps, so I’ll check ingredients and substitute where needed. If you’re unsure about a specific herb, we can do a very small-dose test before using a full blend.
No. Do not discontinue prescribed medication on your own. If there’s a concern about interaction, we’ll choose herbs that sit well alongside what you’re taking. The goal is to support you, not disrupt anything that’s already working.
Yes. Local pickup or meet-up in Wauchula is available. I also do local delivery in the surrounding area when possible (Hardee, Highlands, and Ft. Meade. Mileage will be charged beyond that area). We’ll coordinate the best option when the order is placed.
